Earlier last week, Triple H promised that on WWE Raw Day 1, we would see a former WWE Champion returning. The segment began with the WWE trolling the WWE Universe and having Jinder Mahal, who taunted the San Diego crowd before The Great One’s music hit, and the audience went crazy. The last time we saw The Rock live on WWE programming was on the September 15 edition of Smackdown.
The Rock teased a match with Roman Reigns, saying in his promo:
“I’m going to go get something to eat. When The Rock goes out to get something to eat tonight in San Diego, should The Rock sit in a booth? Or should The Rock sit at the bar? Or, should The Rock sit at the head of the table?”
Hopefully, we can get confirmation around the Royal Rumble (January 27) that The Rock will officially be headlining Wrestlemania 40 against Roman Reigns in Philadelphia.
OH. MY. GOD.@TheRock just delivered an absolute mic drop on #WWERaw! pic.twitter.com/TKMfwDiHa5
