Porsche officially announced their second EV vehicle, the Macan EV. Porsche will release two versions of the Macan, the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo.
The Macan 4 will produce 402 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, with a 0-60 mph speed of 4.9 seconds. The Macan Turbo will produce 630 horsepower and 833 pound-feet of torque, with a 0-60 mph speed of 3.1 seconds. Both trims will feature dual motors, adaptive air suspension, and all-wheel drive.
The same battery will be used for both models, a 100kWh battery, 95kWh of which is usable, with fast-charging capabilities (10 to 80 percent charging time in 21 minutes).
The top speeds for the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo will be 136 mph and 161 mph, respectively. Porsche also announced that the Macan will be equipped with an optional rear-axle steering for the first time.
The Macan 4 will have a starting price of $80,450, and the Turbo version will have a starting price of $106,950. Both models are expected to be delivered by the end of 2024.
